Lancaster City Democratic Committee's Official Website!
John Graupera, Chair
Welcome to
the Lancaster City Democratic Committee's Official Website! We hope
that you will enjoy our site and that it encourages you to
contribute to the committee's growth. Contact us if you wish to
learn more about our organization.
We are a dynamic
organization consisting of Democrats of all backgrounds and
viewpoints looking to make a difference in Lancaster City. We are
open, inclusive, accessible and principle-based. We are committed to
following a lawful, democratic process to excite and engage all
citizens.
We envision a
Democratic Committee that seeks and embraces broad community and
workforce input to formulate its platform. We work to make our
Democratic Party a strong and inspirational voice to communicate our
message of expectation and empowerment. We strive to align our
values and beliefs with our actions.
As Chairman, I
hope to continue the influential work of our past leadership. They,
with the commitment of our members, have expanded the role and
importance of our organization in the community. Our success will be
measured by our ability to attract a vast number of women and men to
serve the Democratic Party’s ideals and to recruit, elect and
support good leaders to govern and guide us - today and tomorrow.

Best Party in Town
Kendra Saunders, Vice-Chair
Springtime means new Democratic Committee
persons and a growing party! The following individuals will be on the
ballot as new Democratic Committee persons in Lancaster City: Randy
Carney (2-2), John McClure (4-1) Josh Redd (5-1), Bonita Redd (6-1),
Blanding Watson (7-7), Robin Hopkins (7-7), and Emmanuel Jean-Philippe
(8-5). If you see them please say hello and welcome them to the best
Party in town! Of course, we also have our trusty regulars, which
will also be on the ballot. Where would we be without them?
For those of you on the ballot for the
primary on May 18th, I recommend being at your polling place during
peak periods (7-9am and/or 5-7pm) in order to introduce yourself to
your neighbors and ask for their vote (keep in mind only registered
Dems will see your name of the ballot). We will also have some
information materials available at the polls so that you can help
answer questions that voters may have. Thanks for all of your help,
and if you have any other questions for me, please feel free to
contact me at
kendrajeansaunders@yahoo.com.
