Welcome to the Lancaster City Democratic Committee (LCDC) website. We hope that you will use this web site as a tool to find out more information about Democratic activism in Lancaster City and find useful links to help you get connected with the Democratic Party’s community, campaigns, and events.

The Lancaster City Democrats are women and men from every walk of life. We believe in inclusion and equality so that collectively we can all reach our fullest potential. We are a community of caring people who believe if we work together we can achieve beneficial ends that cannot be achieved individually. Lancaster City Democrats expect a government that supports their hard work and shares their hopes for the future.

The LCDC strives for positive and progressive change at the local, regional, state, and national level. If you would like to join us at one of our meetings or get involved in a campaign please contact us. There are numerous opportunities to help that range from voter registration, precinct organizing, and candidate support though canvassing, phone-banking, and fundraising. Our times demand citizens dedicated to public service and to our city. We’ve got a lot to do, and we can’t do it without your help!

As Chairwoman, I hope to continue the important work of our previous leaders while recruiting and engaging new democratic committee persons and volunteers. Success will be measured by our ability to promote Democratic ideals, by building our party and electing leaders that promote economic growth while preserving the unique sense of place that is Lancaster City.
