New Voting Locations

Following following Manheim Township polling place locations have changed for the November 8, 2011 general election.

  • If you voted at Grandview United Methodist Church your polling place has changed.

    · 5710 - will now vote at St. Matthews Church located at 700 Pleasure Road.

    · 5719 - will now vote at Lancaster Catholic High School located at 650 Juliette Avenue.

GOTV Phone Banking Party

Come one, come all! The MTDC is planning a GOTV Phone Banking Party to be held on Sunday, November 6, 2011.

Good food, good friends, good times, and of course, beer and wine! Join us for an afternoon of GOTV phone calls to help increase voter turn out for all of our Democratic candidates running in local, county and statewide races.

More details will follow. Tentatively planned to be held at Paul and JoAnn Hentz's house. Bring your charged cell phone, we will provide the lists and scripts.

YARD SIGNS

Yard Signs are available. If you can put one out, let the candidates know. We will deliver. If there is anyone in your neighborhood who would like signs, we can deliver there too. Contact: 717.393.7915 / doreenkreiner@aol.com.

NEWSLETTER

GOTV Calls

All of the candidates need your help making those GOTV Calls in the 2 weeks before the 11/8 Election. Ask your friends and neighbors if they can take a page or two from street lists for your precinct. I will have scripts available for those of you who want or need them. ELECTION DAY COVERAGE

We have 23 Precincts, we have 21 Polling Places, we need coverage at all polling places for the entire day. We need people to approach the voters and ask them to vote for all Democratic Candidates on the ticket. We need people to be inside the polls, checking off names, and making the reminder phone calls on Election Day. Contact: 717.393.7915 / doreenkreiner@aol.com.


A note from the District Leader

We will need vounteers to help with phone calls, literature distribution, and working the polls for future election days as Poll Watchers and Greeters. If you are interested in becoming a Committee Person, please contact Doreen Kreiner. We can appoint Committee People in precincts where we have vacancies".

MTDC Meetings

The Manheim Township Democratic Committee normally meets the 1st Wednesday of each month, 7 p.m. @ Manheim Township Municipal Building 1840 Municipal Drive Lancaster, PA 17601

No meeting in July or December.

Manheim Township Democratic Committee and Club meetings are open to all residents of Manheim Township, PA regardless of party affiliation and to members of the press.


MTDC Road Cleanup...

The Manheim Township Democratic Club is participating in a road cleanup project sponsored by the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners.

The next road clean up will be in May 21ST. We meet at 9 am in the parking lot of the Neffsville post office.

Poll Greeters Needed

The Manheim Township Democratic Club will need poll greeters at each polling place for the May 17th primary election. We used 30" by 40" displays to feature candidates and their positions on the ballot.

Greeters are always needed at the polls on election days. If you can give an hour or two to greet voters at the polls, our District Leader, Doreen Kreiner at 717.393.7915.
