Warwick and MT Committees are inviting you to a joint meeting of the Warwick and Manheim Township Democrats on Tuesday Jan 26th to be held at the Manheim Township Municipal Building at 1840 Municipal Drive Lancaster, PA to discuss:

• a Joint Campaign for the 97th PA House Seat

• a strategy session of organizing our precincts, and

• the circulation of petitions for Lois Herr, 16th District Congressional candidate and petitions for Committee persons. read more...

Lew Sudul has booked 50 tickets for Saturday, July 24th at 4:00 P.M. for the Manheim Township Democratic Club to at Citizen's Bank Park to watch the Phillies defeat the Colorado Rockies. This event will help the Club raise money for the 2010 general election.

Tickets are $55 per person which includes admission and transportation. We are taking a coach. We are in section 413 along the 1st baseline.  The bus leaves Conestoga Tours parking lot (1530 Commerce Drive) at 1:00 pm and returns approximately 9:30 pm.

Mark this date on your calendars now. And send an email to Lew telling him to reserve a seat for you.

You may be doing your holiday shopping and thinking of what you'll "retire" to make room for new items that are purchased. If you can hang on to those items for a little while longer, the Manheim Township Democratic Club will put them to good use at our annual yard sale coming up on Saturday May 16, 2010.

Marti Gras Celebration with Doreen

Save March 6th, 2010 as the date for a Marti Gras party at The Underground with Doreen. The cost will be $15 a person or $25 a couple. There will be food, drinks and music (Corty and Scott from The Green Onions). All proceeds will benefit the Kreiner For Commissioner 2011 fund.

The Manheim Township Democratic Committee normally meets the 1st Wednesday of each month, 7 p.m. @ Manheim Township Municipal Building 1840 Municipal Drive Lancaster, PA 17601

No meeting in July or December.

Poll Greeters Needed

The Manheim Township Democratic Club will need poll greeters at each polling place for the May 19th primary election. We used 30" by 40" displays to feature candidates and their positions on the ballot. Click here to view a large version of the poll displays.

Greeters are always needed to man and woman the polls on election days. If you can give an hour or two to greet voters at the polls, contact the Lancaster County Democratic Party's volunteer coordinator, Sally Lyall at slyall@lancasterdems.com or call our volunteer leader, Beth Truman at 569-4933.

MTDC Road Cleanup...

The Manheim Township Democratic Club is participating in a road cleanup project sponsored by the Manheim Township Board of Supervisors.

The next road clean up will be posted on this website. We meet at 8 am in the parking lot of the Neffsville post office.
