2013 Municipal Primary - Tuesday May 21, 2013

We have four candidates running on the 2013 Democratic primary ballot.

Sam Mecum and Steve Elliott for Township Commissioner and Tony DeLeo and Jesse Huertas for Manheim Township School Board. You will be hearing more about our candidates in the near future.

There are 23 voting districts in Manheim Township located at 21 polling places. We are always looking for poll workers, poll watchers and greeters on election day. A note from the District Leader

The Manheim Township Democratic Committee and Club is one of 17 political district in Lancaster County. Those districts and their committee people comprise the Lancaster County Democratic Committee. Our district includes all precincts in Manheim Township. We elect two committee people per precinct every four years. The next election of committee people will be during the primary in 2014.

You will see our committee people at the polls. They organize poll greeters and poll workers who monitor the election in the polling place. You will also get calls from them urging you to vote just before election day and you will meet them in your neighborhood as they canvass for our candidates. Our Club is made up of volunteers who are not committee people. We could not do what we do with out our club members.

All Democrats are invited to join our club or to take a more active role and serve as a committee person.

The Manheim Township Democratic Club is participating in a road cleanup project sponsored by the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners.

The next road clean up will be in May 19th. We meet at 9 am in the parking lot of the Neffsville post office.
