Manheim Township Democratic Club
Open House
May 23, 2006
The Manheim Township Democratic Club held an
Open House to rally support for defeating Rick Santorum and electing
Bob
Casey to the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, May 23rd at Community Park.
Attendees received talking points for working
the Casey Campaign and were briefed on campaign strategies. Santorum's
vulnerability is accentuated by his vote deficiencies in the primary. He
pulled almost 22,000 fewer votes than Lynn Swann statewide and almost a 1000
votes fewer in the county.

Rick
Santorum seems to dig himself a bigger and bigger hole over
the residency issue. Most of his statements about the
debacle have been proven to be fabrications.
T.J.
Rooney, Chairman of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party says,
“Santorum needs to learn that people who live in glass
houses shouldn’t throw stones
-- even if
their glass house is ... in Virginia."
