Live streaming forum to focus on policy and social perspectives.
Lancaster, PA: The Lancaster County Democratic Committee (LCDC) is pleased to announce a live streamed forum about the status of LGBTQ+ protections in Pennsylvania, to be held on Thursday, June 18th at 7:00PM. Those interested in viewing may do so on the LCDC Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/lancdems/) or at https://www.lancasterdems.com/pride/forum/.
“With recent developments, including Monday’s Supreme Court ruling, many people have questions about the current status of LGBTQ+ protections in PA” said Diane Topakian, Chair of the Lancaster County Democratic Committee. “With human rights on the line, it’s important that we know where we stand and what steps we can take to move forward.”
Panelists scheduled to appear include Rep. Brian Sims (PA-182,) Councilor Ismail Smith- Wade-El (President, Lancaster City Council,) and Rep. Mike Sturla (PA-96.) The event will be moderated by LCDC Vice-Chair Mary Auker-Endres.
